Ningde, situated in northeastern Fujian Province, China, is a city rich in natural beauty and cultural heritage. Except the its traditional architecture and historical sites, Ningde is also famous as a hub for lithium batteries and new energy vehicles.

AMDS2024 will include presentations on the latest technologies of materials data management and AI-driven application on materials design, to introduce the latest insights from the Materials data ecosystem. In addition, various social events and special programs will be prepared.

Asian Materials Data Symposium (AMDS), a biennial conference starting from 2008 in Jeju Korea, is aimingat promoting academic exchange on materials data management, databases standards and data-drivenmaterials research and development. The Asian Materials Data Committee (AMDC), established in 2010, hassuccessfully organized the subsequent AMDS in Sanya China in 2010, Okinawa japan in 2012, jeju Korea in2014, Hanoi Vietnam in 2016, Shanghai China in 2018 and Daegu Korea in 2023. The symposiums have beenattracting the researchers on materials data from the countries not only in Asia but the North America andEurope.

The 8*" Asian Materials Data Symposium (AMDs 2024) will be held in Ningde, China on November 13-16,2024. In this year AMDS 2024 will be organized by University Science and Technology Beljing and sponsored byCATL, in parallel with 8*" ForMGE, which is also a global top-level conference on Materials GenomeEngineering.
